GotGame December 2010

This is pretty much just a recap of what is on our Facebook event.

Things to take note of:
By using this new venue NMMU is able to supply us with a fast Internet connection which will be used for the more popular games. SC2, HoN, DOTA, WoW. etc.
This new venue however comes at a cost – the cost being not able to eat or drink inside the hall as the floors are specially tiled. We will however have sections where this will be possible where you may sit down and eat your supper etc.

Entrance fee to competitions are FREE. Prizes still to be announced.
If you can convince us that there is a game that lots of people play we will have a comp for it.

What to bring:
- PC (screen, case, mouse etc.)
- power cables
- multi-plug and a double adapter.
- headphones, speakers are not allowed.
- all your drivers and Windows install cd in case you need to format.
- if you want to sleep, bring a sleeping bag, pillow and blanket etc.

We supply:
- 1 power plug per person
- a network cable

Other information:
- Only allowing a max of 120pc’s at this GotGame event. So first come first serve.
- Alcohol will NOT be allowed at this event. These are NMMU’s rules.
- NMMU campuses are Glass Free as they are situated on nature reserves. Do not bring glass of any kind.
- It is holiday time for most of the schools and universities.
